Prekaro was involved in this project from initial demolition, and Lift and shift of the existing house. We added a Large modern extension to the back of the house while refurbing and filling in the existing house. Important features to the client included joinery, kitchen stone and high end finishes throughout. Finishing touches also included a beautiful inground swimming pool and alfresco area

Art Deco Penthouse, Potts Point

Introducing the Vanderilt, Art Deco Penthouse. This Art Deco Penthouse is a part of the beautifully retained row of Art Deco apartment buildings in the heart of Potts Point. The project consisted with challenges of access due to it’s city centre position and heritage, and alot of stairs. We completed a transformative renovation to the apartment’s kitchen, bathroom, laundry, walk in pantry and loungeroom. With a focus on preserving, restoring and highlighting the home’s Art Deco heart, we utilised luxurious materials, light installations and bespoke joinery.

Gardyne Street, Bronte Beach

Sitting a stone’s throw away from the surf in beautiful Bronte, the build included a full home renovation and extension, working closely with the private owners. With a brief of ‘Modern Australian Beach House’ for the circa 1930s home, we constructed the home’s four bathrooms, four bedrooms and multiple living spaces, creating bespoke moments with imported lighting, plaster, hand made tiles, vintage pieces, marble and steel. Solid timber furnishings and joinery elements create a luxuriously tactile experience.

Eden on Eskgrove, East Brisbane

Designed by HAL Architects, we delivered the boutique development including 9 luxurious apartments riverside of East Brisbane.

Tucked away in a quiet enclave next to the beautiful Mowbray Park and bordered by the Brisbane River this beautiful boutique development comprises of nine luxurious and spacious, two and three- bedroom residences. Prekaro were engaged under a Design and Construct Contract, the works included detailed civil and basement parking, A combination of blockwork and post tension suspended concrete, Timber roof trusses and Colourbond metal roof sheeting. External finishes of Knotwood ‘Timber look’ Aluminium, render and paint. High end internal finishes, floating timber floors, marble benchtops and feature walls

Project completed in 11 Months

Designed by MR Building Design we delivered these residential ‘Lift-N-Shift’ and build in under.

Prekaro coordinated the engineering and Design and completed the construction. Works included civil, pool construction. Delivering the ‘Lift and Shift’ of one of the original Queenslander homes in Wooloowin. Prekaro Projects restored the home to achieve its former glory and enhancing the home to create a bespoke design to accommodate a contemporary and open plan living. The design standout features of the home is the ‘old vs new’ a complicated ability to master, Prekaro successfully achieved through delimitation of the timeless Queenslander above and modern contemporary design downstairs.

Bevis Street, Bulimba

Working closely with HAL Architects, we delivered these 2 high end houses located in the popular suburb of Bulimba.

Works Included civil’s, pool construction. The houses are a mirror of each other with open plan living and dinning, 4 Bed, 3.5 Bath and double garage.

10 Month contract – Project completed in 7 Months

Project Brief

Working closely with private investors to deliver a residential project that requires the splitting of an existing block into 3 titles, each with an outlook over the leafy Banks Reserve, Ashgrove.

Works Included a ‘lift and shift’ of an existing Queenslander-style home to accommodate a modern design and build-in underneath, plus the new build of two residences at the rear. The new houses feature open plan living and dining, walk-in robes and modern finishes.

11 Month contract – Project completed in 6 Months 

Very tight access off a busy main road and sees careful coordination and cooperation with the neighbors and local council by our team
