Our ongoing relationship with the Little Scholars Group has sees another milestone project completed!

Our Qld team handed over the new facility located in the Gold Coat – Burleigh Heads just before the Christmas break. This project consisted of refurbishing two buildings and combining into one childcare facility.

Scope of works

• Stage 1 (Building 1) consisted of a live environment refurbishment, internal and external of existing 450m2 building. Works were completed in just 5 weeks
• Stage 2 (Building 2) was a refurbishment of the internal and external of existing 450m2 building and works were completed in 6 weeks

Construction

Stage 1

• New glazing walls, reception and kitchen joinery, paint, plumbing and fixtures, lighting and fans, air conditioning, tiling, carpet, vinyl, external feature metalwork, external glass balustrade and signage.

Stage 2

• New plasterboard and glazing walls, new reception, change table, kitchen and kitchenette joinery, floor coverings throughout, new toilets and showers, new change rooms, new 5x activity rooms, new waiting area. Services to the above included new ducted AC, lights, fans and sanitaryware throughout, new back to base fire system.
